KELSEY HATFIELD, ESQ. Associate Attorney at Richards and Jurusik, specializes in asylum, removal defense, family, and business immigration matters. Licensed in New York State and U.S. Immigration Court, she brings valuable experience from her role at Journey’s End Refugee Services as an ONA Staff Attorney. There, Kelsey managed a heavy load of complex cases, represented clients in removal proceedings, and contributed significantly during the Afghan crisis by assisting in family reunifications and preparing asylum applications.
Her background includes substantial legal aid work, evidenced by her independent management of cases and leadership in legal clinics as an AmeriCorps Fellow. Kelsey’s education from the University at Buffalo Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor, laid the groundwork for her commitment to immigration law, demonstrated through her involvement in various pro bono projects and her position as Vice President of the Health Law Association.
