U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) launched a new web-site providing access to arrival and departure records for the United States over the past five (5) years. In years past such information was obtained through filing a time consuming FOIA request with CBP. The new CBP web-site provides instant access that shows the date and port of entry for all arrivals and departures from the United States over the past five (5) years. Access to your Form I-94 record number and five (5) years of travel records can be obtained directly through CBP’s web-site by providing your name, birth date, and passport information. You must have the passport used for travel to and from the United States to access these records.
Once you have successfully logged onto the web-site you will be able to obtain your five (5) year travel history by clicking on the “Get Travel History” link. By clicking on “Get Most Recent I-94” you will obtain your I-94 number, most recent date of entry, class of admissions (Visa status) and date you were admitted until (Expiration of your current visa status). The CBP records do not account for extensions of stay or changes of status through U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
